Mr. Hoang Minh Duc (黃明德) is a special counsel of Duane Morris Vietnam, the Vietnamese subsidiary of Duane Morris LLP (US).

Mr. Hoang Minh Duc has worked intensively on corporate & M&A matters for the last 18 years. A strong relationship and effective communication with the fund and startup community in Vietnam ranging from policy makers, venture capitalists, founders to startups, etc. and, most importantly, experience in cross-border startup funding deals have given him an insight about the niche market.

Mr. Hoang Minh Duc joined  a group of leading startup and VC experts who unofficially consults in-charge State bodies of Vietnam on designing a startup and VC-friendly environment. He has been also appointed as an adviser in the biggest Government-funded startup development program – ‘Supporting the National Innovation Startup Ecosystem by 2025’ under the coordination of the Ministry of Science and Technology (commonly known as Project #844).

On the entrepreneurs’ side, Mr. Hoang Minh Duc has mentored local founders in ‘Viet Challenges’, having regarded as the most prestigious contest for Vietnamese startups on a global scale.
